TEKPROS understands the special requirements for successful technology implementations and migrations. Our implementation teams reduce risk by applying proven processes and methodologies to ensure efforts are well managed, accomplished seamlessly, and completed without disruption to ongoing business operations.Successful migrations and technology deployments have repeatable processes. There will always be unique situations, but following a strict methodology will identify the unique characteristics of each environment. Our migration solutions include:

Development of a comprehensive plan – The plan will incorporate the Planning & Design phase, and the actual deployment.
Define and design an approach for the technology deployment – What can be done remotely versus physically. For each categorization of the migration effort, define the steps required for the upgrade. This includes backup strategy, recovery strategy, remediation/upgrade plan, disposition of equipment, and asset tracking. These should tie into the configuration management, change management, ITIL processes.
Script the deployment process – This will include instructions for the deployment team and also, where appropriate automated scripts for the deployment. This will include definition and acquisition of all tools and technology to be used in the process.
Test deployment process(s) – The deployment architects and the Technical Team Leads will participate in testing and refinement of deployment process(s).
Building a comprehensive deployment communications plan – Avoid surprises, develop a comprehensive communications plan, for the stake holders, for the project team, and for the end users impacted. Tie in the communications to the Level 1, Level 2 help desk incident and problem management processes.
Set the deployment schedule – Build the schedule to incorporate the logistics of the locations of the facilities, and the availability of the equipment with number of resources. Account for availability and probability of the need to work off-hours if required to minimize disruption to the business.
Execution of the deployment – Based on the approach, the plan, the schedule and the script. The PMO is governing and managing the overall effort. Should any issues or requirements arise the PMO is required to address and remediate.
Training the deployment teams – Based on complexity of the deployment ensure the appropriate resources skills and experience match the assigned tasks. The Technical Team Leads are responsible for training and supervision of the deployment effort.
Training – Based on content of deployment, an end user training plan may need to be incorporated into the overall project for the target end users.
Post Implementation Support – Overall support processes will be incorporated and handed off to a post implementation support team for any issues or troubleshooting.
